Magazines

So... I am not quite out of the dark.. colorless winter.. but I do know what I am going to love seeing this month.. crocuses, daffodils and tulips blooming. ( March)

I can't wait to smell their fragrances .. in the air. It will be a rebirth and renewal of life... for me.. I am starting a new career venture.. and job. 
 I am also looking forward to seeing Rango... a cartoon my son has seen the commercials for... and it has a chameleon in it. The voice is Johnny Depp. The chameleon is a pet.. who wants an adventure, and get's one in the desert as a sherrif.

 I am also looking forward to March because I gave up chocolate for lent... made brownies with a  big yummy symphony toffee bar inside... as a send off... and now I won't have any chocolate till April or later. So for the month of March I have decided to buy myself 10 magazines.. seems excessive.. but I have to have something to keep me busy.. since I am working on this new life style change. (eating better)  I have been a bit depressed.. and magazines are a great escape.In all reality I won't be buying all of them.. some of them I will just look at at Barnes and Noble because I am trying to purge.. and not buy really anything.. but food and clothing for my son and myself.. I don't need unnecessary things... to pack, dust, and find space for.

Here is my top ten magazine list for you.

  10.Digital Camera Magazine- I have a old camera.. and it is digital but not really as good as many of the ones in this magazine.. but I love to look at some of the creative and beautiful photos.. in this magazine.

This magazine premiers this month... it is called digital studio... Very eye appealing and more for the side of your brain .. the is creative. Some of the best digitally created artwork from around the world, including scrapbook pages and collages.

9. Good Reading- this is a magazine full of reviews.. for book lovers...

7. Rachel Ray Everyday...I got this issue already.. because the ideas for book club parties. .. was right up my alley.. but I do get this magazine a lot at the newstand.. because.. the 30 minute meals... are great.. and come with a shopping list...of ingredients.

6. Parenting this one I usually look at in the library...

Lots of parenting questions answered.. and projects to do with children.

5. Food Network- I asked for a subscription for this for Christmas.. but I did not receive it.. I love this magazine... I still love to cook.. I just have to really check ingredients for fat... and have just one serving.. and try to eat.. bigger calories at lunch...

4. Green Craft- This magazine my blogger friend told me about and I still love looking at it.. all the crafts that could be made and sold on Etsy... from recycled things.. a pair of  earrings made from a arizona ice tea can ( a craft punch in the shape of a butterfly)

IF you have never seen this.. and you go to Barnes and Noble.. look for it.. it's very clever and a great way to use materials... that you might normally throw out.

3. All YOU  ( this magazine I have not seen anywhere but walmart)

This magazine .. I do grab if I am in walmart.. I don't shop their often.. but when I do.. this magazine practically pays for itself. There are always coupons inside.. this months... cover says $81.39 cents worth of coupons.. but of course .. some of the items you don't buy... but there are a  lot you do.

2.Time

This is always informative.. as I don't always watch the news.. with a small child at home.. and reading the paper.. I feel.. I never finish or get to it.



1. MY NUMBER one favorite magazine.. that I cannot afford.. but love is.....( it's 15.00 an issue)
