visit

So we went on an adventure last Thursday... right afterschool we went to see my sister and my nephews. My son doesn't know his cousins as well as I like... so it was road trip time.

We opened up gifts...

The cousins ate popcorn together...

My son let my niece give him a makeover...

He requested a mohawk... so she tried her best...

They ran around in the snow...

we still had melt-downs...

Gaming....

and  early valentine making..

and then it was grown up time

My sister let me tag along with her and my step-mom - when we went to a regift party 

you had to wrap up something you got for Christmas that you won't use....blow-up santas...toe socks,knitted potholders..shake weights.. you name it .. it was ready for regift.

then it was time for the tasting contest..everyone brought a pitcher of there favorite cocktail and you had to vote on your favorite... 

Mine was bubble gum martini

My sisters was a grape martini

there was also a drink called Hollywood.. so delicious

The winner was.....

My sister... and she won a new bag.

I took a group shot.. for them... this was there 2nd annual re-gift party.

I am sad to report.. that I did not get any new pictures of me with my niece and nephew or my sister.

It was a therapeutic visit.

we got to talk, talk , talk like sisters can.
