Meet my younger sister
She is on the right, She was married before me, I was a bit of an old maid when I got married, I was
36. My sister's wedding was one of the best weddings I have ever been too, My dad paid for her wedding and it was picture perfect. My dad died suddenly in 2003 and I got married in 2004. My sister had a summer wedding and the theme was very much pink and green. I would describe my sister as very fashion savy and a bit preppy and tailored. I am more trendy~enough said...
My sister was married in Albany in 2000, at a place called The Canfield Casino in Congress Park. It is in the Saratoga Springs History Museum it looks like this...
I remember the day she called me from inside the Ann Taylor store to tell me she found the dress, and I needed to buy it right now. it had a great piece of fabric we tied in the back so our shoulders did not show during the church.
The flowers were beautiful roses and green I loved the bouquet. The centerpieces on the table were tall topiary of ivy and roses of 2 shades red and pink with a few gerber daisies in pink and a few spray roses.
I can't seem to find any pictures of the bride and groom table but it was covered in green apples and roses... In the picture included you are looking at the back of the table what the bride and groom saw not what the guest saw but it was still a pink and green delight
This is what her wedding looked like before the guest entered... The table had cards with gold ribbon on it and the favor was a bottle of wine in a gold sash bag.
The cake had no green but it had a lot of roses and a lot of pink
This is the end of my pink and green post from the
thepinkprep.blogspot.com and there meme
Pink and Green Thursday.
