H Poem

Time for the A-Z challenge.. I was going to write about my favorite Tea.. made in upstate new york.. Harney and Sons.. and they sell it in my Barnes and Noble. but . instead I decided to try my hand at poetry with a lot of H words in it... Maybe I will do the Tea post for T..... this poem is not my  best work... but here goes....

HIATUS from the HUSBAND




Home in my room
it's not love that is in bloom
it's lust

My heart was broken by my husband
so I am running 
from the heartache

where am I going
is it to heal me
or hurt me?


In my room getting ready
make-up on 
hairspray, just a little
I need to hurry before 
I change my mind.


I will drive there
down the highway
heart pounding
stomach churning.


His HOME, I finally arrive
my heart still pounding
worry-concern
he calms me
we talk- he is a pleasant distraction
I feel a bit happier
I am craving his touch
oh so much.


Then we are undressed
the heat between us
hands and fingers entwined


Then the heavy breathing
His smell
his skin
his thrust
I am lost
lost in the lust


Is this a hiccup in my life?
will I do it again?
do I feel I deserve this.
He rocked my world.
How can I be doing this...


Driving home I feel guilt
I won't lie
I will tell him why..
It's only fair


Home again
I spill the truth
He is shocked 
but he understands 
maybe it's redemption


I am not acting like any ones
Hero
I am trying not to feel like a
Zero




Now my hindsight says...I am Home now 
Hiatus is over... it was just a hump in the road called Marriage.
