 I want to thank all of you for your design and home ideas to spruce up my home. I am having a 1980's book club party tonight and I will be making a blueberry and lemon layered cake.. I will post recipe Thursday and I will also post the before and after work I have done so far.. On redecorating my rooms....



1. What is one really fast, know-by-heart "go-to" meal to fix in a pinch?
  I make a stir fry very quick shrimp or chicken cut up with vegetables soy sauce and some rice.. easy any time
2. What is one item you won't leave home without. (Purse and license do not count.)
 I forget things all the time... but I try to always have my cell phone and a drink for my son and a snack.
3. Where is one place you never tire of visiting?
 I have not been there in a while but I love to go, In Carmel NY a Monasary
 I like to go to the Great Buddha hall...
The building is 84 feet tall, contains 24,000 square feet of space and can accommodate 2,000 people in the main hall. Inside the Hall is a 37-foot statue of the Buddha Vairocana - the largest Buddha statue in the Western hemisphere. Encircling the large statue are 10,000 small statues of the Buddha on a lotus terrace.

The construction of the Great Buddha and the building took 8 years. The Great Buddha has to be complete before the building. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to bring a huge Buddha into the building. Professor C.G. Chen spent 2 years just to complete the Great Buddha itself. The little Buddhas are also designed and fabricated by Professor C.G. Chen.

 My grandparents were born in NYC but there parents wore born in Italy in Aprutzee( I can't spell it)

  there was a women who could eat anything and not gain .. that women weighted 125....that women was taken away by an evil spell called ... life... child... marriage... but the women began to emerge and she realized a prince charming was not going to take the spell away only she could, by portion control and not by kissing a frog but by exercising so.. she hoped down out of that castle and did jumping jacks and jumped rope...
6. If you could win a one year's supply of anything, what would it be?
  It's not smart or practical but I would ask for books, if someone said no it can't be books I would say.. Meat.. because it's expensive and we grow a lot of our own vegetables, otherwise I would say vegetables.
7. "One quirky thing you may not know about me is ...."
  If I watch a scary movie before bed I have to go around check all the doors and windows and in the summer I shut them, and my husband gets very angry and says it was just a movie.....
8. You have one dollar in your pocket. What will you buy?
  Since I am out of work, I usual only have one dollar in my pocket and it's usually for my son to get something ..
9. "One thing that always makes me laugh is ...."
 I have a huge problem I don't laugh as much as I should.. My son can make me laugh with funny things he comes up with at 4 years old ( I keep a journal of what he says) but something that always makes me laugh?????Not sure there---- that is bad.
10. What is one thing you could do today to help yourself reach a personal goal?
 Easy work out at boot camp, but it is not going to happen today, I have to go out of town, and I am hosting a book club gathering tonight, and I am baking a blueberry cake from scratch.. So no working out today.

11. What is one thing you could do today to bless someone else?
  I actual don't know how t o bless someone? what does it mean to pray?? I am going to pray for my neighbor  who's father is in the hospital in serious condition.
12. What is one thing you're looking forward to soon
  Maybe my birthday tomorrow??? or maybe when my son goes to Kindergarten...and I go back to work?????
