but I am digressing... I had a party 2 years ago... at a Photographers... and it was called a Glam party
a number of my friends came to celebrate my birthday.. and get their hair, make-up and photos done... it was tons of fun. She has a studio.. that is a entire room.. and balcony... she decorates it for holidays and parties and it looks elegant always.
has started a group for young women. The group meets twice a month... The group is a resource for young women in search for self, and their contributions to the community. The group focuses on self worth and self respect. The group explores problem solving and the awareness of a wide range of very key elements that effect the tender individual and the world at large.
This group was started in memory or two young women... Victoria (Tori) Martorano and Alicia Quintana.. who died suddenly. Tori is Vivian's daughter who passed...
They meet here...at the "space" and sometimes even garden behind the studio.
The group is having a fashion show fundraiser... to raise money for a Love in Bloom scholarship for a student at the school the girls attended...The fashion show takes place April 15, 2011 in Highland, NY.
I will be loaning out my Stella and Dot jewelry for the event... and there will be a D.J... fashion show.. and food of course... IF you are from the area.. it's this month.. contact me... or Vivian.. tickets are only $5.00 dollars.
I am donating an amount to the fund as well.
I lost someone I knew who was 23 years old.. Her name was Robin.. I worked with her in the Nursery school... setting ... she was one of my assistants and we became friends...She died suddenly... and Her mother has kept her memory alive with a beautiful website....www.whimsy24.com
