falling......

I feel like I am falling...I "celebrated" my 6 year wedding anniversary the other day... it was hard... because as many of you know my husband has been unfaithful... and I chose to give it a second try. What many of you don't know is that he went bankrupt 2 years ago... and it was very hard. On the night of our anniversary after 1 bottle of wine, my husband admitted to me that he had not made 4 mortgage payments and they had sent him a foreclosure warning and told him he must write a hardship letter. Guess who had to write the letter? me... and it was not easy.. as I do not do any of the finances...Do you know that people charge you on the Internet for sample hardship letters.. I could make some money on my blog...So I have been overwhelmed with a feeling of frustration, falling and forgiveness... I did not help my husband get into this current debt.. and he took a budget class 2 years ago... I believed he had it under control.. I asked him several times if he wanted me to help him do the budget and finances. I am torn between if I should stay or leave... I don't have to have a house I can have an apartment.. but I want more for my son... a neighborhood... a yard....I don't want to make this a lengthy post whining... I just wanted to state some of my feelings.. and why my posts have been show short or non-existent. I know it's difficult on one income... but my income in the past only covered some groceries and "free" daycare... It did pay for things like my son's school pictures... and other little extra's like the book fair.. that my husband said was NOT in our budget.. I am working some part-time hours... to help... but it seems it is already to late... I am sure his pride got in the way, but he could have told me after he missed the first payment?? Don't you agree???
  I promised you all the pumpkin turkey chili... so without further ado....
Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Serves about 6 people
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup of yellow bell pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1lb ground turkey
1 can of diced tomatoes 14.5
2 cups of pumpkin puree
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Dash of salt
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup sour cream

I am doing medifast.. so I did not put cheese or sour cream on mine.. and I made sure my serving was not to large..
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat, and saute onion, bell peppers, and garlic until soft. Stir in turkey and cook until evenly brown. Drain and mix in tomatoes and pumpkin. Season with chili powder, pepper, and salt. Lower heat to low and cover. simmer 20 minutes. Serve topped with you favorite cheese and or sour cream.
