leprechaun trap

Today we worked all day in completing our leprechaun trap.
My son painted an old piece of wood for the base and then he painted a
paint can I purchased from Lowes. He than added shamrock stickers and wanted to
decorate the handle with old fabric. We went outside and he watched from a far
when I spray painted a rock, some sticks ( his idea) and poker chips gold to look
like gold. We waited for it all to dry and after his nap we added a playdough road
and a sand spot and a sign that said go back, he wrote the words STOP GO and I wrote
back. We made a laddar next.
Tonight we set the trap the idea is that he will not head the directions and he will climb up the ladder and see the gold on top and then he will fall in, trapped in the bottom of a large can.
