I went to a coupon party.. the other night.. and I learned so much.... I have been using coupons.. since I quit my full time job...but I had no idea.. how to get Meat for free... and use Catalina's..... and get a coupon that is a money maker.... I have Known what a BOGO is.. for a few years... but these are some of the other acronyms... I learned:

The girl teaching the class name Mandy... told us... how to go to a site called
www.livingrichwithcoupons.com
They have all the stores... and you pick the ones you use in your area.... then you can match your coupons up to the store coupons.. for extra savings... and they show you how... on this site.... even can print out your list... of items.... to take into the store.
She also told us... how you should bring the coupon policies in a folder.. in to every store.... some cashiers.. don't know the policies.. and if you have it with you... you save time....
Another great link she told us about is calledwww.recyclebank.com you get points from recycling... to "buy" coupons....
So I learned so much.. that I went out alone Monday.. and I got a $4.00 catalina... a lot of stuff for free... and I used the Catalina... to get filet mignon.. which we had for dinner the other night...
I think I am addicted... I posted my good news.. on facebook.. and lots of people wanted to learn how... so my friend... is coming to teach.... my friends... how to save ... at the end of JULY
She also told us about www.hip2save.com
I will post some pictures... when I get better at this... IT IS not extreme couponing.. but you do stock pile... a bit... for a few months.. in case someone loses a job... but you don't go to stores and buy tons of stuff you don't use.. and or want... and you don't clear shelves in the store.... like on the show extreme couponing....
She told us.. any product you like in your home.. call the 1-800 number and ask for a sample or coupon.. she also said... to like products on facebook.. they give out free or new samples... all the time...
In June CHipsahoy is giving away... cookies... if you go to their facebook page... at 12 noon..
and Pier 1 has a contest... that every friday..FLIP flop FRIDAY.. go to your phone.. thru facebook.. and you will get a special promo code.. coupon to show the cashier.. no need to print..... to receive your discount.. just show your phone...
I can't believe how much is out there.. for free.. or under $5.00 especially food... if you know how to use your coupons.......
Rite aid has video's you can watch... and then recieve coupons after watching....
So on a hot day... over 100... sit down.. and get some coupons....

I use coupons and I agree with you they are totally worth it, but I would like to learn more. I save between 40 to 50 dollars a week using coupons combined with store sales and once I did get somefree stuff. Thanks for the info! Blessings,Joanne
I used to be an avid couponer. But I used to buy a lot more groceries and the stores had better coupon deals. Now if I run across something special I'll clip it, but I don't seek them out like I used to.
