Shut up about Your Perfect Kid.. a survival guide for ordinary parents of special children.. By Gina Gallagher and Patricia Konjoian...( this book I won in a contest... from Attitude magazine.. it's an ADHD magazine) and The professor and the Madman... A tale of Murder, Insanity, and the making of the Oxford English Dictionary Simon Winchester- my grandmother loaned it to me....
and a number of children's books.... for fall and Halloween as seen in a previous post...

I went to the book store and let my grandson pick out 2 books. One was The Berenstein Bears and the Haunted House and the other one was Thomas and the Big, Big Bridge!

I went to Recycle Reader and picked up "The Historian"...looks dark and
"A Thread of Truth"...both different, but worth checking out. I usually take my daughter, but she was at a friend's house. I have picked out books, prior times, but she hasn't read them, yet.
