This We need S'more teachers like you is amazingly simple... go to her site for the free tutorial and print out... IN color...
Another cute idea... Is colored gumballs in a jar with with a fun bow and cute worded tag.. with a gift card...
I love the pop pop fizz fizz idea... because the teacher's favorite is sparkling water... this is a holiday gift but it could be done for the end of the year and you could use...gift cards inside. The water bottles and crystal light in a big basket with sunblock and towels would be a fun beach hit.. this idea is from the idearoom.blogspot.com The bottles say: Thanks for Quenching our child's thirst for knowledge.
This is by far the most creative one I found... It is a pill box filled with magnets, thumbtacks, etc..
each square had a fortune cookie size note and the item... very cute.
I came up with some of my own too---
Thanks a Latte with a dun kin donuts or Starbucks gift card and a mug and a DVD----
Homemade jelly Thanks for being so "berry sweet" to my child...
with homemade biscuits or bread basket...
I have seen many candy bar cards...
Dear Mrs. Bowe,
I think you're 1000 grand (bar, glued down) I had Mounds ( candy glued down) of fun in your class and learned alot. You Skor (candy glued down) as a teacher. Have a great summer.
Love , The child
This one is from a blog I visited every week...go here to see
You could follow her directions and make these amazing cookies with your child and put one or two in a basket with fat free microwave popcorn and a blockbuster or netflix movie coupon or gift card..
I know many of us gals are watching what we eat .. and sometimes kids give us cookies, cakes and we are saying oh, NO!!! Flowers are great ..... Even from your garden....
Your child could help you create the vase...
I love baths but I know alot of people think they are gross, I shower off first and then lay in a warm bath and I use natural things in my bath but once in awhile a bubble bath or salts feels great... So what about a teacher gift for the bath that looks like you eat it... I saw this one to buy ... BUT I know how to make my own....
The yellow is bath powder, the brown is a towel, you can look for the bath beads to be a cherry or you can buy fake ones at Michael's or any craft store... You can add a pink loofah to the top to be strawberry or a white to be whip cream... I went to Dairy Queen and asked them to donate 5 of them for me.... to use .. there sundae cups with lids and I used those...
*** I found a saying to go with it:
This very special sundae, will leave you feeling good.
It's chock full of good things, even though it can't be ate.
Take it to the bath with you.
Of course don't take a sip... cause
It may look delicious but it's made to take a dip.
I loved this lemonade idea... You could put it in a basket with some nice tall glasses and a gift card to a book store...
from the blog...HERE
The pop pop fizz fizz came from this blog...www.2cleverblog.com
She also had a few other great ideas... She had the idea of your child picking out a hardcover that they love to read.. and giving it to the teacher... with a name plate inside.. or a note...
Her pail idea for the teacher filled with sunscreen, water and a magazine is terrific too.
SO I have few ideas for male teachers.. but this one I love... I found it at creativehomemakers.blogspot.com
and it is a gift card to SUBWAY inside..
but you buy clear hand soap and different times of the year.. You give to the teacher as a gift, Holiday colors for Holiday time, hearts for valentines etc.. they sell tons of clear stickers to use for this and I usually add ribbons to the pump... This ideas is for the end of the year.. about hands.... I love the idea.. and it is from the idea room blog...
I love all the ideas.. but this one stole my heart... IT was a mother and daughter who created this collage for the teacher using buttons.. I love trees and have a few framed in my home.. and this calls to me...
If you did not see anything you liked find more ideas at....this great blog
OK so I asked my son what he wanted to give his new teacher..... and He told me his favorite thing that he doesn't get often.. M&M's ... SO I did a little research and came up with this....
It says:
Green is for the inspiration you give me each day.
Blue is for your patience in showing me the way.
Orange is for your warmth and caring style.
Yellow is for the way you always make me smile
Red is for my life that you have touched this year.
You're a very special teacher
jut like this jar, that's clear!
You place knowledge in our children's hands and melt into their hearts and lives forever.
You're a Magnificent and Marvelous teacher.
Thank you for being my M&M
He signed his name on the bottom, and he gives it to her Thursday.
So I hope if you are searching in this economy for a few gifts for all your children to give to there teachers this June that I helped you in some small way.
