Here is a good recipe for the All American Burger
Ingredients
1 1/2 pound of chuck or sirloin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 slices of cheddar cheese
1 large onion sliced in rings
4 onion rolls, halved and toasted
1 large tomato sliced
4 lettuce leaves ( from my garden..)
4 dill pickle chips.. next year from my canning...
Directions:
Prepare patties: In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and egg. Use your hands to from 4 equally sized patties.. I save a lid for size and place them on the lid to flatten them a bit..
Cook burgers and onions: In large skillet or on grill cook patties over high heat about 4 minutes for medium or 5 minutes for well done, turning once midway through. Place 1 slice cheese ontop each burger and cook 1 more minute. Rmeove patties from skillet or grill and place on wire wrack. Use red and white tissue paper to create these hamburger holders...
Reduce heat to medium and add onions and cook stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 6 minutes. Remove skillet from heat.
If having a buffet.. add corn, baked beans, fried chicken and vegetable Kabobs.

Sometimes it takes a little while for the products I've created to show up in my store. There are several now and there should be more by tomorrow morning.
Thanks for your interest!!
Now that's a BBQ! I was raised BBQ is either hamburgers or a rack of ribs, but here in the south, it's pulled pork. Weird.
