We decided to make monkey bread- It's called monkey bread because you can eat it with your fingers like a monkey.
Here is the recipe:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cans ( 16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands Homestyle refridgerated buttermilk biscuits
1/2 cup choppped walnuts ( optional)
1/2 cup raisins (again optional)
1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine melted
Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 Lightly grease 12-cup fluted tube pan with shortening or cooking spray. In large storage plastic food bag, mix granulated sgar and cinnamon.
2. Separate dough into 16 biscuits, cut each into quarters, shake in bag to coat ( This is the part my son loved) Arrange in bunt pan add walnut and raisins.
3. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and butter, pour over biscuit pieces.
4. bake 28 to 32 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center. Cool in pan
10 minutes. Turn upside down onto serving plate, pull apart to serve. Serve warm.
Enjoy

Monkey bread is like crack...I can only make it when we have enough people around so I do not eat it all...Totally addictive.
So good. My daycare kids love it and Mike always hopes we left him some when he comes home. I also make dounts from the quick biscuits (like grands but the cheaper thinner version). I cut them with a scissors, put in a flying pan with about an 1" of oil and fry them up. Then put them in a baggy with powdered sugar and there you have a quick easy snack.
I'm having a blast reading all about you and your life.
Spa's are something I don't even think we have in this neck of the woods. I've never had a massage but would love one some day. I don't have to great toe nails, tiny ones on little sausages so don't go around in sandles to much. Fingernails on the farm, I keep them pretty short so no since in making them pretty, just clean. A spa day though sounds wonderful.
So off to read a bit more, I have about 15 more minutes before my daycare little ones wake up.
Take care, God Bless!!
