B is for BEWARE and BETRAYAL

I missed a few letters in the A to Z challenge I started at letter F. SO I am back tracking to do Letter B but BEWARE it is a bit R rated, not all will enjoy this post and IT is a character not a real person, for a book I am writing after finding Everything Emeraldhttp://everthingemerald.blogspot I found her doing the A to Z challenge by Arlee at tossingitout.blogspot.com   Everything Emerald always writes about characters in her books so I decided to dedicate one letter to a character I had in my mind. It is about Betrayal. Here it is....

...
It all happened like this I heard the text bell as I checked my phone to see who was leaving me a text this early in the morning. I got all the way to my phone and I realized it was not my phone. I was wrapped in my bathrobe and wearing my frilly socks as my feet got cold in the morning. I did not want to walk down the cold tile floor to look at Antonio's beeping phone, something in side of me said, "Go look he never get's texts." Antonio was in the shower, it was going to be a waste of a walk on the cold floor, it would be a 800 or a 900 number. As I walked to the office I started thinking about  my chores for the day, working till 5, pick up Ava at the pre-school and taking her to the grocery store, which is never fun after work when we are both hungry. I usually try hard to shop on Saturday am or Sunday am early but this weekend was so busy Antonio took me to  a bed and breakfast in New Jersey and Ava was at her grandmothers. My thoughts drifted to the bed and breakfast and the beautiful flower garden they had and the romantic time we had. I had wished a little more went on between Antonio and myself in the bedroom, but I know men have troubles down there sometimes and he seemed upsett about it himself so I let it go. ... Ok, got the phone, reading text.... Hey, BRO had fun last Thursday want to meet again? Can you get out this week after work? Ok, my mind started racing who the hell is this and is it a women? Is Antonio having an affair with a women who calls him Bro??? It sounded like a man but my husband has 3 main friends and that was not any of there numbers, I knew as I called them for him sometimes. I decided to jot the number down on a piece of paper. I had to really race into action and get Ava's lunch made, I had fallen asleep watching an episode of CSI and never made it last night. The dog was at the glass door scratching to get out, the day had started.
My office job in a PR office is very demanding but it's a fun job and I like learning about how we can target a new audience and get impulse buying from consumers. The grocery store was worse than I had imagined not only was I very hungry and so was  Ava but she had a few tantrums that she normally does not have and I think it almost landed me a spot on the show Nanny 9-1-1-. I got home fed the dog and cats and began to go thru the mail.  I noticed the answering machine was blinking, I pushed the green blinking button. I heard Antonio's voice," HI, Honey I will be late, I tried your cell phone- guess you did not hear it." I will try to be home for dinner but if not eat without me." Well, I thought that was great news, as I realized in my haste to get ready this am I did not take out the chicken to defrost. I was going to have to come up with a different idea for dinner, even though I just went to the grocery store- Antonio buys the meat on Thursday nights at the butchers near his job. So I had little meat in the house, and nothing unfrozen. I began to scramble eggs and I sat my daughter down with her homework and some washed grapes for a snack. Then I saw the number from this morning from the text. Curious I called it, of course dialing *67 first so they did not see my number, a trick I learned in college. A man's voice and name blared back at me from a voice mail message. I froze. I did not recognize this man's name or his voice.
After fixing waffles, eggs and bacon Ava and I were full, I wrapped a plate for Antonio and went upstairs to get Ava in her bath. I always had a fight about baths with my husband. I know it's a waste of water that a shower uses less water but after rinsing Ava off first and than putting in all her toys, I really enjoy listening to her creative play as she splashes around, she is only going to be small for a short while. I myself love baths and I find much relaxation comes in the form of a bath, and a book or a magazine- but I try not to have a bath if Antonio's going to be home, not worth the speech.
After bath I got Ava in her retro hello kitty pajamas and put her in her bed with 3 stories. I read her a chapter in the book My father's dragon and I read her Fancy Nancy Every day is earth day. She told me she loved me and I snuggled up to her for a few minutes, but as usual I fell asleep.
I awoke to Antonio kissing the back of my neck, telling me come to bed. I looked at Ava's cat clock to see it was 11:00 wow that was late for him. I crawled into our cold bed and asked him did you check the stove and turn off the porch light and lock up? He said Yes, Libra I did. I drifted off to sleep.
So hear I was standing in our local cemetary looking at my husband standing pants off and a man kneeling over him. Then my mind flashed to the text from this am," I must see you again, Saturday am. last night was the bomb same time and place?" Cemetary? I had desperately tried to keep my rage contained all day in the office the rest of the week and while I drove my daughter home from school Friday and to her grandmothers for a sleep over so I could think of what to say to Antonio. In the end I did not ask him about the texts ....I decided to find out for myself what was going on...
I was detective Libra, spying on my husband, but what I saw was a pain that was so excruciating` to see- It was  the man I love and all my dreams of  the future, falling around me. I felt like a hole was being burned in my brain. I got back in my car as heat rose in waves from the pavement ahead of me, the day was just beginning to get warm. Fucking liar!!! I can't believe I did not see this coming !!!I have been betrayed. This cant' be what it seems, I thought I have to find out and ask Antonio tonight before Ava comes home.

Sherlock Holmes was once quoted as saying"When you have eliminated all of which is impossible then what remains however improbable  must be the truth."I hoped he was wrong.
