A to Z Challenge Reflection Post- MEGA POST

SO as many of you know I have been posting posts for 30 days in order from A to Z, hence the name. It was not my idea but Arlee Bird from It was an interesting idea. One that I jumped at the challenge. What attracted me to this challenge? I am a new blogger. I have only been blogging since December 2009 and I have so much to learn about style, rules and getting people to become followers. I thought it would be a fun challenge. I was not intimidated by it until I saw some of the post from senior bloggers, and then I had a little worry. I also was hoping it would increase my traffic to my blog.  One of the people who joined Arlee's challenge said she could not do the posts in A-Z order but she would do all the letters just out of order and she called it an alphabet soup blog, very clever.
Another blogger I met along this challenge was Marjorie from I was reading one of her posts for the letter j, she did the word Justification and I began reading a post about a women ( i assumed her) that was justifying her spending of money on a few earrings for herself. It turns out it was not her it was a character piece. She is a writer, book writer and writes character pieces. I loved it and was hooked. It also inspired me to do a character piece for the letter B, beware and Betrayal.
Did I want to quit? not once, maybe because I was a full time pre-k teacher and I had quit my job suddenly to home school my son one month ago and needed to stick with something, or maybe because I was really enjoying myself, I had all the letters of the alphabet in a binder and had put possible topics next to the corresponding letters to do a bit of organizing of my thoughts.I have adult a.d.d. and it helped me to organize my topics, so I was not writing off the cuff.  I found myself being amazed at the creative writing posts. One blogger named Ruby a older women who calls her self the blabbin wrote an interesting piece for letter U. She took a picture of a tool, and wrote Unusual tool- the post was all about this tool which her mother had used as part of her job in a hosiery mill. I really found it informational.
My greatest contribution?? well~ that one is hard. My favorite post of mine was my P was for Pollination post, I wrote about bees, honey and pollination. I felt very comfortable about writing about this subject and found some great information while researching this topic.
I did meet some new friends along this journey. Alex. J. Cavanaugh who was very good at comments. I read Porch pondering by Rae and she said it the best," the A - Z challenge inspired and united us. I feel like I found a new friend in her posts were filled with childhood memories and vivid descriptions of things I also remembered.  I also enjoyed her photographs and she inspired me to do a challenge about different colorful clotheslines in the world and there photos.  This challenge starts in a week if you are interested come back to visit. I loved Ella's images, both visually and cerebral.  I also found a friend in Lisa who does the blog entitled Bombastic Bandicoot at htttp:// she always made me laugh with her pictures of her pets.
So after this challenge can I say what kind of blogger I am ?? I am still a bit unsure about this. I love words and books but how does that help me know what kind of blogger I am. I love to be a follower in the swap and challenge department, but I am trying to find my own way in the original department.  As long as people will like to read and follow then I will continue to write.
A big thank you to Arlee for all the hard work, commenting and the challenge award.  So fingers to keyboard, ideas to post, I am a blogger who likes to tell you about my latest passion...

I know I am late getting to this tribute post, but I am so glad I came. How wonderful to have you so sweetly mention my name and postings! I have been blogging for nearly two years, but learned so much about the different styles after this challenge began. So many really neat people I have met, but one thing, I know, we are all caring people who have really connected with each other. I'll be back. Ruby

That was a wonderful recap of your experience in the Blogging From A to Z April Challenge. It was a good thing for a new blogger to do. I like the way you organized everything while you were doing it and how you assimilated observations from other blogs in order to learn from them. I'm fascinated by how we each have different knowledge and skills that make each of our blogs different. Wish we could all gather for a workshop / blogfest to teach each other what we know. You have a lot of technical things on your site that I don't understand-- where did you learn how to set up your page? It looks very nice.
Thank you for being part of the A to Z Challenge. You made a great contribution and you are becoming a wondrous blogger. Keep at it and you will do very well.
