it's a little blurry but it come with a singing cd but I don't always play the cd. The book has terrific pictures and it is about all kind of animals and what they like to eat... I love the wild raccoon picture and my son loves the crocodile pictures... ( of course he does...) We read this book often and then he likes to ask me what other animals eat that are NOT in the book. ( my the way, he asks this a lot , if anyone has a book with more things animals like to eat please drop me a comment with the title)
Today while trying to find a picture of the cover of the book I also found this..http://funkydivadesigns.com
She bakes little bags with book cover characters on it...
very cute isn't it, for a child to carry there toys around in, or go to the library with....
The second book is more for girls but I have read it to my son...
This book has a history, I was an Au Pair when I was in my 20's I had one child to care for and I lived in there home. I had a room near hers and we shared a bathroom, I was not in charge of cooking, but I did make her lunch do some light laundry and mine of course. I got a pay check and room and board, they were a terrific family. I knew the girl would become a writer or something big , she was very smart, gifted. She could play alone for hours, not that I let her always but if I had work to do... I wish my son could do that for just 30 minutes.
I am getting side tracked... So anyway... I lived with them from the time she was 3-5. I was invited to go to Paris with them, but was unable to, as I was taking a course at Vassar College. The mother was Chinese and the father was Scottish, but he was a terrific chef. He had been the president of a bank in NYC and had moved to the country to reinvent himself and start his family. He had a spice rack of only fresh spices that he collected when he traveled. NO MCCORMICK for this man. He made his own chutney and taught me a lot about life... He was very different from my own father. ( I Will post about him one day)
SO anyway he had purchased his daughter this book, and I read it too her, I loved it. I purchased my own copy and put it in my hope chest for my own daughter. I did not have a daughter, so I read it to my son.
I believe it was a movie, and they sell Linnea dolls ( it's such a pretty name)
So if you to want to participate in the feed me book Friday head over to the adventure of motherhood....
